Annual Teach the Speech Teach-In

You are invited to the annual Teach the Speech Teach-In hosted and facilitated by the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service (CSJ) & the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS). The Teach-In is designed to support faculty who will "teach Dr. King's speech" in their classes during the Spring 2019.

  • 12:00pm: Keynote by Ms. Catherine Coleman-Flowers, introduced by Professor Marcia Chatelain

  • 1:30pm: Reflections and examples by GU faculty and staff on their experiences teaching the speech

We hope you will join us for this event and for others as part of Georgetown’s “Let Freedom Ring!” Initiative. Please feel free to share this opportunity with any and all interested faculty and staff colleagues.
