Baker Scholars Program Information Session
Started more than forty years ago by Fr. Royden B. Davis, S.J., Dean of the College, the Baker Scholars Program was funded by an initial gift from the family of George F. Baker, a leading financier and philanthropist who believed in cultivating intellectually inspired and socially conscious business people. The program offers a unique opportunity to experience the world of business firsthand, enhanced by mentoring relationships with Baker Scholar alumni and by visits to various business environments in multiple cities. Baker Scholars enjoy opportunities to develop as leaders, using Baker resources to make a difference in the community. With community service as an integral part of the Baker experience, Baker Scholars exemplify the Jesuit ideal of women and men for others.
All sophomores in the College are eligible and highly encouraged to apply. Please join us at one of the 'Be a Baker' information sessions to hear firsthand from the current Scholars!
