Bike Commuting 101

Want to commute to work on your bicycle, but not sure how to get here? We will discuss the various laws in DC, MD, and VA as they pertain to a general safety standard. Paying close attention to ones bike can ensure a safe and enjoyable commute. Discussion will cover helmets, lights, and other maintenance best practices. Bring your comments and concerns and join in the discussion.
About Jesse: Jesse is a WABA member and a member of the Georgetown community through marriage, he's the spouse of Valerie Miller in the Department of Public Safety. Jesse has spent five years working in bike shops and prior to moving to DC, Jesse commuted year round in Chicago. Jesse now commutes 12 miles in each direction daily.
