Center for Social Justice Workshop: Fighting Fake News

The Center for Social Justice invites you to participate in its Fall 2018 CSJ Workshops series. On Thursday, October 11, Glenn Kessler will present, "Fighting Fake News". Glenn Kessler has been editor and chief writer of The Fact Checker since 2011. In a journalism career spanning more than three decades, Kessler has covered foreign policy, economic policy, the White House, Congress, politics, airline safety, and Wall Street. He was The Washington Post’s chief State Department reporter for nine years, traveling around the world with three secretaries of state. Before that, he covered tax and budget policy for The Washington Post and also served as the newspaper’s national business editor. This CSJ workshop is co-hosted by the Journalism Program in the Department of English, under the direction of Professor Ann Oldenburg, and the Georgetown University Library.
