Chapman Medal Competition
Friday 4/21 3:30–5:00 p.m.
This award is named in honor of the former Chair of the Department of Biology, Prof. George Chapman, who initiated the Senior Thesis and dedicated himself to research and education. This medal is awarded to the undergraduate student with the most outstanding research project. The medal is decided after a competition in which the finalists give short research talks.
For underclassmen interested in research, this is a terrific way to learn what sorts of research you can do here at Georgetown and to see the great heights undergraduates can reach in their work. Our twelve finalists will give ten-minute talks about the research they have conducted in their time here.
