CSJ's Alternative Breaks Program - The Bull Dog Toss Fundraiser
Over four decades ago, a group of Georgetown students elected to spend their spring break in Appalachia, which began the Alternative Breaks Program at Georgetown University. Today, the University’s Alternative Breaks Program (ABP) in the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service has expanded to include 23 service and immersion trips to both international and domestic locations such as Detroit, New Orleans, Tucson, and rural Jamaica.
To fund this important initiative, each student is responsible for raising funds to pay for their immersion experience. While this is a large responsibility, we are collaborating as a community to make these trips possible.
On February 23, 2018, ABP will be hosting a large fundraiser, The Bulldog Toss. The Bulldog Toss will allow students to purchase tickets for a toss and if their toss is successful, they will be entered into the raffle to win exciting prizes!
Come join us to celebrate, donate, learn about our upcoming International Trips, and enjoy complimentary snacks!
