MASK AND BAUBLE DRAMATIC SOCIETY
(student-produced event)

Donn B. Murphy One-Acts Festival
Featuring Four Lemons and a Funeral by Allison Lane (COL ’19)
and Hazel & Stanley by Timmy Sutton (COL ’20)
Directed by Kate Clark (COL ’21)
Produced by Grace Crozier (COL ’21)

Dana and Lauren are trying to make it through their mother’s funeral. As lemon squares bake, memories of times they needed these treats, and each other, rise as well. Hazel and Stanley have started college and they’re doing fine. Soon, however, they struggle to be just two boys on a rooftop. In “Four Lemons and a Funeral” and “Hazel and Stanley,” Georgetown student playwrights Allison Lane and Timmy Sutton respectively examine who we go to in times of hurt and hardship and the aftermath of such vulnerability.
