Ecumenical Service for a Common Commemoration of the Reformation

The Roman Catholic and Protestant Chaplaincies will hold an Ecumenical Service for a Common Commemoration of the Reformation in Dahlgren Chapel on Tuesday, October 31st at 12:10pm.

This date marks the 500th anniversary of Luther’s posting of the 95 Theses, which is considered by many to be the start of the Reformation.

The service will be presided by the Chaplains of both the Protestant and Roman Catholic communities with a reflection offered by Rev. Mark Bosco, S.J., vice president for Mission and Ministry.

The ecumenical service will name the struggles and tensions of past ecumenical engagement and pray with hope for a future of greater Christian companionship.

All are invited. Lunch will be served in Healy Foyer immediately following the service.
