Friday Music Series: Aaron Myers, voice/piano

Awarded "Jazz Artist of the Year" by the International Music & Entertainment Awards (IMEA) in 2016, composer/singer/pianist Aaron Myers starts the new year of the Friday Music Series off with a program dedicated to seasons—of weather, love, and life. Aaron was voted “Best Singer” in the Washington City Paper Reader’s Poll in 2015 & 2016 and is Resident Artist at Mr. Henry's in Washington, DC and Minister of Music at Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ.

The Georgetown University Music Program’s Friday Music Series features acclaimed artists in free concerts on Friday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. in McNeir Hall, and integrated into a new undergraduate course (MUSC 200) titled Live Music in Context. Each concert is followed by a Q&A with the performers.
