GEMA ROCKS VI, the sixth alumni/student concert featuring a phenomenal collection of Georgetown University music and comedic talent spanning six decades. Performers will include the following:

Michael Zakarin (C '05, MBA '13) of The Bravery;

International Trance/Dance artist Jeza, aka Jessica Bennett (C '09)

Kiran Ghandi (C '11), percussionist for award winning British-Sri Lankan recording artist M.I.A.;

Michael Pearsall (B ’06) and Evan Field (C ’98) of the critically acclaimed band Honor by August (Last Chance);

Teddy Zambetti (C ’80) (Sirius XM In-House Composer/Producer and Co-Founder GU’s Cabaret);

Johnny Zambetti (B ’09) (Guitarist/Songwriter of Terraplane Sun & guitarist from top-selling artist Schwayze); 

and The Georgetown Improv Association.  

A Special Tribute to Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Bill Danoff (I ’68) (Take Me Home Country Roads, Afternoon Delight) where he will receive the very first GEMA Lifetime Achievement Award for his many contributions to GU, GEMA and the music industry.
