Georgetown in London & Stratford Summer Study Abroad Info Session

Experience the works of Shakespeare as they were meant to be: in performance. In London, you’ll attend three plays by Shakespeare, visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and the Middle Temple Hall. From there you’ll travel to Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace, where you’ll attend three more plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries performed by the renowned Royal Shakespeare Company.

All performances in both cities will be accompanied by lectures, post-play discussions with Georgetown professors and other eminent Shakespearian scholars, as well as actors and stage professionals from the Globe, the RSC, and other theater companies. You’ll even have the chance to talk with actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Globe, take part in a directing workshop, and through a final acting exercise, try your hand at performing Shakespeare yourself!
