The Race that Takes the Cake
Written and directed by Daniel Woods (SFS ’16)
Produced by Nathan Oakes (COL ‘15)

Young Dmitri and Deedee have long competed to be the fastest reindeer-sled racers in the entire kingdom. When the king and queen absent-mindedly forget to order a cake for their anniversary ball, the two children must race to the palace over the snowy mountains and through the cold forest to deliver the cake before it’s too late. Whoever wins, will save the party and be declared the fastest racer in the land! Get excited for this adventure that will teach Deedee and Dmitri values like teamwork, respect, and healthy eating habits.

Though this play aims to entertain children, it can be enjoyed by all ages. Audience participation is encouraged throughout the production.
