Georgetown University Children’s Theater: The Jungle Book

(student-produced event)
Based on the Rudyard Kipling story
Adapted by Tim Kelly
Directed by Jacklyn Pi (COL '19)
Produced by Rebecca Kazor (NHS '20)

Mowgli is a jungle boy raised by wolves. He lives in the bush with his good friends Baloo, the bear, Bagheera, the panther and Kaa, the python snake. His mortal enemy is Shere Khan, a man-eating tiger. Shere Khan wants to rule the jungle, and it’s up to Mowgli to defeat him. Audiences of all ages are encouraged to participate in the show by portraying silly monkeys, helpful elephants, wolves and more. Audiences also learn about the importance of ecology.
