Please join the German Department as Jonathan Skolnik presents Jewish Pasts, German Fictions: Historical Fiction, Minority Culture and National Identity

Jonathan Skolnik is Associate Professor of German at UMass Amherst, where he is Interim Director of the Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies. He is the author of Jewish Pasts, German Fictions (Stanford, 2014) and recent articles on writers and filmmakers including Fritz Lang, Kafka, Paul Celan, and Edgar Ulmer. He is President of the North American Heine Society.
