About the Presenter:
Susan is the Head of N.A. Private Equity HR & Talent Development at Bain Capital. She is responsible for human capital management for the firm's investment and portfolio operations professionals. Her primary responsibilities include leadership and professional development, global recruiting, mentoring programs, resource allocation and culture and connectivity programs for the private equity business.
Ms. Levine also runs the firm's children's charity, Bain Capital Children's Charity. Over the past twenty years, the charity has raised and donated in excess of $50 million to hundreds of national charities focused on everything from arts to education, from mentoring to providing a safe place to play.
Ms. Levine graduated from Georgetown in 1989 with a BS in Spanish and went on to pursue an MA from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication (1991) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (1998). She resides in Wellesley, MA, with her husband, Jon, and three boys (Braeden – 15; Ryan – 13; Kyle – 13). In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, training for her annual Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) bike ride, baking and cheering on her favorite Boston sports teams (Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots).
