Wednesday, January 16 at 12:00pm to 1:15pm
Edward B. Bunn, S.J. Intercultural Center, ICC 302-P (Large Conference Room) 37th and O St., N.W., Washington
A panel of experts from Europe will compare and discuss the increasingly salient and controversial issues pertaining to immigration law and policy, focusing on naturalization, citizenship and statelessness in Europe and Russia. Given the current climate here in the United States, the panelists will also field questions and reflect upon U.S. immigration policy and prospects for reform; in particular, legislation for undocumented children, security concerns, and national identity. A light lunch will be served.
