Just Employment Policy 10th Anniversary Celebration

Join us to celebrate a decade of Just Employment at Georgetown. The Just Employment Policy guarantees a living wage, the right to organize, access to community resources, and a dignified workplace for all University employees and campus workers. The Policy aligns the University's labor practices with Catholic social teaching and Jesuit values.

We will bring together students, staff, faculty, alumni, and worker advocates to look back on the history of the Policy, highlight its impact in our community, and consider it as a model for higher education and beyond.

4:00pm to 4:15pm: Introductory Remarks by Provost Robert M. Groves
4:15pm to 4:40pm: Origins of the Policy
4:45pm to 5:20pm: Impact on the Campus Community
5:25pm to 6:00pm: Future of the Just Employment Policy
6:00pm to 7:00pm: Reception in the President's Room next to Riggs Library
