La Plaza Hoya: Fiestas de mi Pueblo (Hoya Square: Celebrations of my Town)
Directed by Andrea Charcas (MSB ’19) and Rocío Mondragón-Reyes (COL ‘19)

Festivals heralding the arrival of spring have long been a tradition in Mexico. In small towns, populous modern cities, and even famous archaeological sites such as Chichen Itza, locals and visitors alike gather together to celebrate this season of renewal with colorful parades and traditional food, music, and dance. As a group that strives to preserve and share these traditions, BFMG invites all members of the diverse and exciting DC community to join in this family-friendly celebration! Experience a combination of traditional dances from four Mexican states that embodies the diversity of this wonderful country. A reception follows with authentic foods.
