By Julia Cho
Directed by Chris Warren (COL ’20)
Constantly preoccupied with preserving dying languages from remote cultures, George struggles to find the words to keep his own life together. He doesn’t know what to say to his wife, Mary, to keep her from leaving him, and he doesn’t recognize the deep feelings that his lab assistant, Emma, has for him. Full of play and lyrical invention, this magical realist play muses on love, loss, and reaching across silences to reawaken to life, whether by baking or
speaking the deep language of your heart.
