"Let Freedom Ring" Celebration at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

"Let Freedom Ring" Celebration at the Kennedy Center for the Performing ArtsGeorgetown University and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts present the 2013 "Let Freedom Ring" Celebration, honoring the life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's celebration features performances by Grammy award winning artist Smokey Robinson and the 2013 Let Freedom Ring Choir, directed by Rev. Nolan Williams. The celebration also features the annual presentation of the John Thompson, Jr. Legacy of a Dream award, given this year to Mary Brown, Executive Director of Life Pieces to Masterpieces.

Tickets are free, and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Kennedy Center on the day of the celebration. For more information on tickets, please visit the Kennedy Center website at:
