Medical Apps for Point-of-Care

In this DML-sponsored workshop, and optional clinical orientation for the Class of 2020, we will introduce mobile medical applications (iOS and Android) that can help with answering clinical questions at the point-of-care.  In sixty minutes, we will highlight some of the core apps that are available to Georgetown affiliates, and then utilizing these apps, we will work through a series of cases that address different scenarios of patient care.

Joining the DML librarians to help facilitate this session will be Dr. Jeff Weinfeld, Professor in Family Medicine, and a couple soon-to-be-doctors from the Class of 2018.  These colleagues will also provide guidance and best practices on clinical usage, as well as which apps are most useful for each rotation.
