Mini Medical School

Mini Medical School is an eight-week seminar during which Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) faculty cover various areas of biomedicine during a two-hour lecture. The lecture topics for Fall 2018 include the Paleo diet and the evolution of the human diet, bioethics, cardiac embryology, HPV, and dermatology, to name a few. Mini-Med School is offered twice a year, in the spring and fall. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. There is no homework and there are no tests, but the program is very enriching and offers participants an insight into a medical school course.
