MLC X maslansky + partners workshop

Please RSVP by May 1st via the Google Form and feel free to circulate widely among your networks!

Companies work hard on their business and marketing communications strategies...but what’s their language strategy? They can have everything else right: a powerful strategy, an important story to tell, the facts on their side. But if their language doesn’t resonate with their audience, it won’t matter.

At maslansky + partners, we’re strategists, researchers, and communicators with deep expertise in framing, messaging, and communication strategy. At the core of our offering is research. We use proprietary research methodologies to understand what language is working, what isn’t, and why. Then we deliver a language strategy and roadmap that helps clients solve their most important business challenges. From financial services and technology, to food and pharma, we equip our clients with the right words, message framing, and strategic approaches to build credibility amidst skepticism or controversy, stand out in a crowded space, simplify the complex, and speak in the language of their customer to break through. Our clients include Microsoft, Hulu, Hershey, PepsiCo, P&G, Google, Merck and Wells Fargo.

In this workshop, we’ll start with a series of high-level case studies to introduce our approach to language strategy. From there, we’ll focus on one in-depth case study to explore key phases of a typical project, breaking into groups along the way for hands-on analysis and conversation. Throughout, we’ll discuss the benefits – and challenges – of bringing an academic linguistic focus to challenges in the business world. We’ll wrap with a Q&A session and share perspectives on our company and culture.
