Moving from Research to Policy & Practice to Improve the Lives of Youth

The fifth annual McCourt School of Public Policy’s LEAD (Leadership. Evidence. Analysis. Debate.) Conference, Moving from Research to Policy and Practice to Improve the Lives of Youth, will be held at Georgetown University on April 6-7, 2017. 
The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform is hosting the event in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.  
Join us during “Cherry Blossom Season” in the nation’s capital as we bring together a national group of researchers, policymakers, practitioners, youth, family members, advocates, and others to explore cutting-edge innovations in child-serving fields.  
The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at McCourt is looking forward to hosting you at the 2017 LEAD Conference: Moving From Research to Policy and Practice to Improve the Lives of Youth (April 6-7). Please note: As of March 8, refund requests are no longer being accepted. The program will take place at the Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center (GUHCC) located on the Georgetown University campus. CJJR has reserved room blocks at GUHCC, the Hyatt Arlington, and the Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge.  
We encourage anyone who is interested in improving the lives of youth to attend the conference.  Policymakers, practitioners, researchers, educators, judicial officials, community leaders, family members, foundation representatives and more will benefit from this opportunity to hear form leading experts, as well as network with professionals from around the country and participate in a national dialogue on cutting-edge issues.
