Join us as we debrief with the litigants who will be arguing the Murr v. St Croix County U.S. Supreme Court case, an important land use and constitutional property rights case, which will take place on the morning of March 20, 2017. After the case (at 3:30 pm), Georgetown Law will host a facilitated discussion between the panelists. The question presented is whether or when in a regulatory taking case must or may two commonly owned contiguous lots may be treated as single parcel for assessing the impact of an environmental development restriction under the leading precedent of Penn Central Transportation Company v. City of New York, 438 U.S. 104 (1978).
