Open Access Workshop

Have you been invited to publish in a journal and wonder if it is legitimate? Need to address a grant requirement to publish the article or data as Open Access? Wondering what Open Access is exactly? Join DML for a discussion on these issues and more. The workshop will be held in the Biomedical Academic Computing Center (BACC) classroom on the lower level of the library.

Topics of this workshop include:

-- Definition and different models of Open Access

-- Government Support/Mandates

-- Open Access Authorship

The workshop is open to all members of the Georgetown community. The class size is limited to 25 students. Light snacks and water will be provided, but feel free to bring your lunch for some meal time learning.
