Overview of the Bayh-Dole Act, Recent Revisions and Update on University Reporting Responsibilities
Kevin Barquinero has extensive experience in innovation management in the federal sector, academia, nonprofit institutions and industry. He founded Knowledge Sharing Systems, a leading innovation management software and consulting company serving the technology transfer industry. During his government service at NASA he implemented an agency-wide commercialization program and was the lead commercial policy analyst for the space station program. Mr. Barquinero will review the Bayh Dole Act and its recent revisions. He will focus on the challenges universities face in complying with reporting obligations of the law. He will provide guidance on compliance and reporting requirements for all university stakeholders in the federal funding process.
