Project Rebirth Screening & Discussion

Join the Library Associates for the Annual Casey-McIlvane Memorial Lecture on Monday, September 11 from 6-8 pm in the Pierce Reading Room, Lauinger Library.

This year's program will highlight Project Rebirth, an organization dedicated to supporting the survivors of catastrophic events including the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attacks. Project Rebirth’s films facilitate powerful lessons on how human beings can build resilience personally, professionally and in their communities and organizations. These films are now part of the DigitalGeorgetown repositoryand are available to the entire Georgetoen University community.

This event will include a screening of selected clips from Project Rebirth as well as remarks from Brian Rafferty, (CAS’79), Georgetown Board of Regents, Chairman, Project Rebirth, Randy Bass, Vice-Provost for Education, Professor of English, Georgetown University and General George Casey (USA, Retired) (F’70), Georgetown Board of Directors.
