PubMed 101 @DML

Do you feel like you might not be getting the best results from your PubMed searches?  Are you looking to get beyond searches that are "good enough" to searches that are actually good?

Come to the PubMed workshop at Dahlgren Memorial Library and we'll help you get comfortable with PubMed basics.  First, we'll help you set up your own NCBI account within PubMed.  Then, we will show you how to optimize and refine your searches, how to store and retrieve your searches, and more.  If you need MEDLINE articles for your latest research project, review article, or assignment, this workshop will help you navigate PubMed more easily and effectively.

All Georgetown students, faculty, and staff are welcome.  Please register with a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address.  The physical class size is limited to 25 students, with more spaces for distance learners.
