Re-Using Images for Scholarship Purposes
Do you finding yourself wondering whether you can re-use images in authoring articles or book chapters? Have you ever asked how to request permissions? Ever used the Copyright Clearance Center? Join DML for a discussion on these issues and more. This workshop will help you better organize yourself and better clarify the permission request process. The workshop will be held in the Biomedical Academic Computing Center (BACC) classroom on the lower level of the library.
Topics of this workshop include:
-- How to organize the permissions process
-- Creative Commons licenses
-- Using the Copyright Clearance Center
-- How to Request Permissions
The workshop is open to all members of the Georgetown community. Light snacks and water will be provided, but feel free to bring your lunch for some meal time learning.
