Recruitment and Selection Workshop for Georgetown University Hiring Managers Only
You will learn best practices in human resources for interviewing, selecting, and hiring employees for your team. Become familiar with required forms, understand the responsibilities of a hiring manager, and learn ways the GU Department of Human Resources stafff can assist you with the entire process.
To help discover which candidate is right for you and your team, the workshop will include  Interview Do’s and Don’ts, the best way to conduct an interview, and identify questions you can and cannot legally ask.  
Other topics are:

Overview of the interview guidelines
Interview Preparation
Meeting and greeting candidates and interview etiquette 
Introduction and defining the interview format 
Work experience, education and role specific questions 
Competency based behavioral interviews 
Responding to candidate questions 
Selling (but not overselling) the opportunity

This workshop is for supervisors and managers who want to learn or refresh their skills and understanding of this process.
*Please Note: There is a $90 materials and facilitation fee for this workshop which will be charged directly to the your office/department cost center. An additional workshop fee will be incurred for all registrants who do not cancel at least 72 hours before workshop.
