Screening of The Prosecutors and Q&A with SFS Alum Leslie Thomas (Director/Producer)

Join us for a screening of the documentary (60 minutes) The Prosecutors written and directed by School of Foreign Service alumna, Leslie Thomas. The Prosecutors is a feature length documentary that tells the story of three dedicated lawyers who fight to ensure that sexual violence in conflict is not met with impunity. Filmed over five years on three continents, it takes viewers from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Bosnia and Herzegovina to Colombia on the long journey towards justice.

The screening will be followed with remarks from and a short Q&A with Leslie Thomas. 

The event will conclude with a reception at which students can learn about the programs co-sponsoring this important event: Center for Social Justice; Women's and Gender Studies; Justice & Peace Studies; Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace & Security; Master's in Conflict Resolution program; Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs; Prison and Justice Initiative; Lauinger Library; and the School of Foreign Service.
