Summer Study Abroad Amman Info Session

Georgetown’s summer program in Amman, Jordan is designed to accelerate your knowledge and proficiency of standard Arabic in an intensive and immersive environment. Over nine weeks in Amman, you’ll take classes at the Qasid Institute for Classical and Modern Standard Arabic, one of the leading programs in the Middle East for Arabic language learning. Classes will take place every morning, while afternoons will be dedicated to informal sessions with language partners and for colloquial Arabic language classes. Through work with your language partner, in addition to staying with a local Jordanian family, not only will your Arabic language skills improve, but you will gain extensive insight into culture and society of Jordan and the Arab world.
