The Art of Qur'anic Recitation: A Demonstration of and Lecture on Tajweed

 The tradition of reciters of the Qur’an during the first two centuries after the Hijrah (650 - 850 CE), which focuses on the correct articulation of letters and timing of vowels and silent letters. Presented by  Khadeejah Akyurt, Instructor and Chairman of ITQAN, a project of the Muslim American Society, Alexandria, Virginia.
