Rafik B. Hariri Building, Fisher Colloquium 37th and O St., N.W., Washington

The Program for Jewish Civilization invites the public to join us for a lecture by Dr. Deborah Lipstadt of Emory University on the trial of Adolf Eichmann. Eichmann was a member of the Nazi party and the SS officer that oversaw the trains transporting Jews to the death camps. He avoided being identified by the Allies and fled to Argentina where he was found by Mossad and brought to Israel to stand trial for crimes against humanity in 1961.

The lecture is a free public event part of the Jan Karski Institute for Holocaust Education's summer certificate program for high school educators.

RSVP is request. A light lunch will be served.
