The first six months of Pope Francis' leadership has been marked by interest and excitement among Catholics and many others around the world. The inaugural dialogue of the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life will examine that question.
The PBS NewsHour team of Mark Shields and David Brooks, along with Kim Daniels and Alexia Kelley, will discuss how Pope Francis' new leadership is impacting the public square. Initiative Director John Carr will moderate. Cardinal Donald Wuerl and Georgetown President John J. DeGioia will provide opening remarks.
