Join the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) and the Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) in welcoming Ambassador Nestor Mendez, Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS). Ambassador Mendez will share his views on the VIII Summit of the Americas, focusing on the lessons learned from the meeting of the heads of state and government of the Western Hemisphere and the path ahead for the region. In addition to lessons learned from the OAS perspective, Ambassador Mendez will also address major new challenges and opportunities that emerged from the Peru summit.
