The Wealth of Nature Presents: Podcast Listening Hour
Catering by Whole Foods will be provided for attendees. Please note that this event is BYOB, in the theme of sustainability. Thus, we will not be serving beverages in any capacity but encourage you to bring in your own biodegradable/sustainable water bottle. There are water filtration systems located throughout the building.
Join us as we celebrate the launch of Season 2 and listen to an episode on Sustainable Consumer Products and the Circular Economy of discarded fishnets in Chile!
The Wealth of Nature is a podcast created to highlight profit-minded solutions to environmental challenges. In each episode we address a particular issue or topic and invite a variety of voices to add their perspective to the discussion.
At the Podcast Listening Hour we will listen to one of our new episodes, an interview with Ben Kneppers, co-founder of Bureo, a company creating a circular economy for discarded fishnets. Based in the US and Chile, they design and manufacture skateboards and sunglasses made out of recycled fishnets.
In season 2, we plan on covering a lot of interesting topics including Carbon Capture, Sustainable Finance, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Consumer Goods, and more! Episodes will be published bi-weekly starting from December. You can tune in on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts.
Follow us on social media @wealthofnature_ on Instagram and Twitter and check out our Facebook Page @The Wealth of Nature. Feel free to send us your questions and comments, and if you have ideas or topics you think we should cover or voices you would like to hear on the podcast, let us know!
We look forward to your attendance!
