LABOR Book Symposium 2019: Steve Striffler's Solidarity: Latin America and the US Left in the Era of Human Rights

The Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor at Georgetown University would like to invite you to the LABOR: Studies in Working-Class History2019 Book Symposium where we will discuss Steve Striffler’s Solidarity: Latin America and the US Left in the Era of Human Rights.

 

How and why has solidarity with Latin America changed over time?  What are the political strengths and weaknesses of the solidarity impulse?  And how has solidarity shaped the US left?  

 

A distinguished panel of commentators will discuss Solidaritywith author Steve Striffler.
