Friday Music Series: Soloists of the Havana Lyceum Orchestra | Music from Cuba

Co-sponsored by Georgetown University's Music Program, Center for Latin American Studies, and Latin America Leadership Program

Members of the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana perform works by Cuban composers, joined by students participating in the GU Orchestra and the Chamber Music Ensembles Program. This event is part of “Music for Cuba," an international exchange program initiated in 2017 between GU's Music Program and the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana.

The Georgetown University Music Program’s Friday Music Series features acclaimed artists in free concerts on Friday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. in McNeir Hall, and integrated into a new undergraduate course (MUSC 200) titled Live Music in Context. Each concert is followed by a Q&A with the performers.
