This is one of the events associated with the International Partnership for Excellent Education and Research (INTPART) grant, awarded by the Research Council of Norway & Diku to the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan at the University of Oslo, to unfold over the three years of 2019 – 2021. The INTPART partners are: the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan at the University of Oslo (INTPART Director: Liz Lanza); four universities in South Africa: University of Cape Town (co-PIs: Ana Deumert, Raj Mesthrie), University of the Witwatersrand (PI: Gilles Baro), Stellenbosch University (PI: Christine Anthonissen), and University of the Western Cape (co-PIs: Zannie Bock & Christopher Stroud); and Georgetown University’s Initiative for Multilingual Studies (co-PIs: Anna De Fina & Lourdes Ortega).
